22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head,plump cheeks with deeply-impressed dimples,brown glass sleep eyes,mohair lashes,painted curly lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,wide-open mouth,outlined lips,row of upper porcelain teeth,tongue,row of lower porcelain teeth which disappear when the doll is lain down,brunette human hand-tied wig,composition and wooden ball- jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing,wearing pretty antique dress,undergarments,socks and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Germany 410 7. Comments: Marseille,circa 1913,commissioned by the doll firm of Robert Maaser with registered teeth mechanism curiously described as "movable jaw". Value Points: very rare model with delightful expression,virtually unknown in this larger size.
