kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,brown glass enamel inset eyes,dark
eyeliner,painted lashes,rose-blushed eye shadow,feathered arched
brows,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils,closed mouth with
shaded outlined lips,pierced ears,brunette human hair hand-tied
wig over cork pate,French kid gusset-jointed body with jointing at
elbows,hips and knees,stitched and separated fingers and toes.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 12. Comments: French,early
period Gaultier poupee,circa 1867. Value Points: rare grand model
with rare brown eyes for this era,finest bisque and
painting,sturdy original body,exquisite antique white pique
costume,silk bonnet,undergarments,stockings,shoes,and with fine
antique lorgnette of faux-tortoise.
