Description
10" (25 cm.) The fourteen-blade fan with carved fretwork bone blades
that are decorated with hand-painted flowers and scrolls and with a
small oval ormolu-framed mirror at the outer blade has two exuberant
early engraved scenes,one with ten people enjoying nature scenes,the
other with three young ladies being entertained by an organ grinder
lad and monkey. Excellent condition,few small tears in paper. Mid-
19th century.
