The heavy bronze mantel clock with rich gold leaf finish has elaborate scrolling,and with hand-painted enamel scenes on front and sides depicting romantic couples in the 18th-century style,with fine porcelain clock under beveled glass cover,and with attached winding key at the back. The back panel has small incised markings "V13802". Excellent condition. Vienna,late 19th century,an opulent miniature work.
