18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue painted eyes, dark upper eyeliner, one-stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full lips, fretful expression, blonde mohair braids, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, original body finish. Marks: K*R 114 46. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1909, the art character model marketed by the firm as "Gretchen". Value Points: very fine modeling emphasizes the fretful expression, choice bisque and painting.
