11" (28 cm.) Fine porcelain cased mantel clock with hand-painted decorations and applied Dresden floral decorations on four sides and with bouquet cluster at the crown has a porcelain face with painted hour and minute numbers,brass frame and hands. The clock has hourly and half-hour strikes,along with key and pendulum. The clock is signed Maple & Cie on the face,and the porcelain has the blue Meissen mark on the underside. Excellent condition,clock functions well. French,Maple & Cie,in Meissen case. Circa 1860.
