17" (43 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,Dehors neck articulation allowing the head to tilt forward,back,and sideways as well as swivel,blue glass enamel eyes with darker blue outer rims,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,rose blushed eye shadow,accented nostrils,closed mouth with outlined lips,ears pierced into head,stretched kid-over-wooden body having distinctive "baggy" kid thighs over dowel jointing at hips and knees,bisque forearms and hands. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: the model was sold at the Paris doll boutique of Terrene,among others,presumably based upon the depose model of Marie Cruchet,circa 1870. Value Points: rare model whose body is wonderfully-preserved,includes antique velvet and silk robe and hat.
