9" (23 cm.) Bisque socket head with flat-cut neck socket,large
blue glass paperweight inset eyes,dark eyeliner,lushly-painted
lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with
outlined lips,pierced ears,auburn mohair wig,French composition
and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: E (head) Bebe Jumeau SGDG depose (body). Comments: Emile
Jumeau,circa 1890. Value Points: most precious size accentuated by
dramatic large eyes,lovely bisque and painting,original Jumeau
body with original finish,original coral wool dress,bonnet,socks
and shoes.
