Description
A round porcelain powder jar is painted blue with colorful
geometric designs and black dots,and seated on the lid is
Pierrot,his head turned to the side. Pierrot is wearing a
costume variation with bright yellow neck ruffle and
trim,and with black skull cap. Green stamp marking of
anchor and initials H&D,Boulogne-sur-Mer,Made in France.
Excellent condition. French,Henri Delcourt,circa
1920,included is a copy of the original design
rendering,labeled _Boite D Pierrot 758".
