Description
8" (20 cm.) A round porcelain dresser box decorated with green and white stripes and black circular patterns has a matching lid upon which is posed a kneeling flapper lady holding a colorful parrot in her right hand,and with pointing _teaching" finger on her left hand. The artist signature _Liane" is on the bottom edge,and the base is marked Made in France. There is a very faint short airline on the bottom edge,otherwise excellent with fine coloring. Included is the artist rendering with variation in color,and the notation _Boite femme en perroquet No. 309". Henri Delcourt,France,circa 1920s. From Vicki Lee Little Collection.
