Description
5 1/2" (13 cm.) Waist-up slender figure of nude lady with
right arm bent at the elbow to sniff the rose she holds in
her hand,her left arm held up toward the porcelain woven
basket that she balances on her head,basket filled with a
bounty of colorful flowers that nearly cover the body of
the blue-winged cherub that is leaning over the side of
the basket; and the lady having sculpted three-tiered
ruffled pink bonnet over grey hair. Excellent
condition,the cherub is holding an object which is
partially missing. Germany,Dressel Kister,circa 1900.
