Description
6 1/2" (17 cm.) Two-piece porcelain powder box is
decorated in Art Deco style in vibrant yellow,black and
white colors; kneeling upon the lid is an amber-brown
complexioned woman with black hair and red-banded
cap,having elaborate amber and black beaded necklace,upper
arm bracelets,and green skirt; with left hand on her hip
and her right hand extended,holding a spotted snake which
she is charming. Excellent condition. Incised 5357.
