Description
10" (25 cm.) All-porcelain doll with jointed arms and legs in ballerina pose,one on tip toe,the other held elegantly back,with grey/brown sculpted hair in formal arrangement,held by gilt decorative beaded combs,with green painted ballet slippers,jointed arms,original (frail) silk and lace costume,and posed on original padded cushion base. Mark cannot be seen. Excellent condition except restoration to right hand. Dressel Kister,circa 1900. Property of the Strong Museum.
