Description
7" (18 cm.) Two-piece bisque figure depicts a woman in stylish 1860s ensemble,in shaded blue with pink and magenta trim,fancy matching bonnet with unusual yellow bow at the throat,and having painted bracelets and wrist-length white gloves; her skirt is lifted flirtatiously to reveal brown ankle boots. The figure separated at the hips to allow access to the glazed-porcelain hollow interior. There is professional restoration on the left upper torso,otherwise excellent. Germany,circa 1865.
