Description
4 1/2" (11 cm.) Waist-up porcelain figure depicting a
plump-faced woman clasping a purse which is half-hidden
under her checkered coral cape with green and brown
stripes. She has long brown ringlet curls under a tan
sunbonnet with green bows and ribbons. An old hairline at
the back of her cape. Excellent condition. Germany,circa
1915,the figure was presented in a variety of cape colors
and sizes and is attributed to Dressel Kister. Property of
the Strong Museum.
