Description
9" (23 cm.) Waist-up porcelain half dolls are sculpted as
one,depicting a black-haired man and a woman with short
red bobbed hair with coronet and painted halter and
bracelets,in a dancing pose,their arms outstretched and
their fingers intertwined,with powder puff and silk skirt
attached,and with separate powder puff bowl with extended
double set of legs,gold slippers. Excellent condition.
Incised 6807. Germany,circa 1915,for the French market,the
piece was offered by Parisian boutique of G.
Malet,featured in their advertisements.
