Description
6" (15 cm.) Waist-up porcelain figure of nude lady with
formally-arranged long grey hair in finger curls at each
side of her face,her arms bent at the elbows and extended
from her torso,holding a letter in her left hand; and with
gilt metal _skirt" that forms the lid of a porcelain
vanity box,and having gilt metal halter,shoulder
straps,and ribbon sash. Excellent condition. Germany,circa
1900,the half doll is mounted on original French porcelain
vanity box marked Sevres France,for the French market.
