Description
4 1/2" (11 cm.) Waist-up slender figure of nude lady with
arms held posed in front body as though about to catch the
open-weave gilt-edged porcelain basket that she balances
on her head,having sculpted three-tiered ruffled bonnet
over grey hair,side-glancing eyes on side-tilted head.
Excellent condition excepting professional restoration to
right hand. Germany,Dressel Kister,circa 1900. Property of
the Strong Museum.
