10" (25 cm.) h. 8" w. Waist-up porcelain figure of nude lady with brown sculpted hair arranged with two long braids coiled over her crown and held with an aqua hair band,her head tilted thoughtfully to the side and her arms bent at the elbows with elegantly poised fingers,a Dresden pink rose held in her right hand,her gilt metal _skirt" forming the lid of a porcelain vanity box,and having gilt metal halter,shoulder straps,and ribbon sash,and with decorative Dresden flowers around the edge of the lid. Excellent condition,some typical tiny flakes on flowers and leaves. Germany,attributed to Dressel Kister,circa 1910,the half doll is mounted on original French porcelain vanity box.
