Waist up porcelain figure of nude lady with sculpted grey hair in long ringlet curls on bodice and chignon at the back,decorated with garlands of colorful flowers,her arms extended in dancer?s pose,and with gilt metal halter,shoulder straps,ribbon sash and lacy trim which forms into her skirt,on porcelain vanity box,in bronze frame,its rim incised _Depose SGDG France". Excellent condition. The porcelain half doll is attributed to Aelteste Volkstedter Porzellanfabrick of Germany,circa 1910,the presentation for the French market. From Vicki Lee Little Collection.
