Description
5 1/2" (13 cm.) Posed upon the lid of an oval-shaped
porcelain powder box with abstract design of flowers and
lustre finish,is a kneeling dancer,her head thrown
dramatically backward,having skull-fitted gilt cap and
gilt slippers,and nude excepting the gilt belt that holds
a widely-flared orange-striped cape. Incised 9743.
Excellent condition. Attributed to Hertwig,circa 1920.
