Description
10" (25 cm.) Designed to appear as a one-piece porcelain figurine depicting a lady arranging a
veil on the head of another lady who is seated at her dressing table; actually,the top half of the
figural group is the lid to the hidden inkwell inside. The faces and hair are sculpted and painted
with very fine detail. Overall excellent,mirror broken,few tiny rim flakes. Unsigned,probably
Porcelain de Paris,circa 1850.
