Description
5 1/2" (14 cm.) Waist-up porcelain figure depicting a
plump-faced woman clasping a purse which is half-hidden
under her striped ruffled aqua and blue cape. She has long
brown ringlet curls under a tan sunbonnet with pale pink
bows and ribbons,with excellent definition of facial and
hand sculpting. Excellent condition. Germany,circa
1915,the figure was presented in a variety of cape colors
and sizes and is attributed to Dressel Kister. Property of
the Strong Museum.
