Description
7 1/2" (19 cm.) Posed upon the lid of a round porcelain
powder box with marbleized design is a kneeling dancer,her
head thrown dramatically backward,having skull-fitted gilt
cap and gilt slippers,and nude excepting the gilt belt
that holds a widely-flared orange-striped skirt,her left
hand resting on her knee and holding a red ball. Incised
