Description
6" (15 cm.) l. 3 1/2"h. Porcelain half doll depicting lady
with short brown curled hair held by a decorated
coronet,has arms held gracefully from her torso,and with
painted gold halter and bracelets,with attached powder
puff under silk skirt,and with original base having center
bowl for powder puff with two extended legs in ballerina
pose,gold slippers. Excellent condition. Germany,circa
1910,an article about this figure appears in the book,The
Half Doll,by Shona and Mark Lorrin,Volume I,page 34.
