Description
6" (15 cm.) Waist-up figure of lady in the 18th century
style with very elaborate grey hair in topknot and long
ringlet curls,elaborate costume with low decolletage,her
arms in front holding a porcelain vase of colorful
flowers,incised 9199. Along with a small waist-up figure
of young curly-haired child with white Charlotte cap
trimmed with pink bow,her mouth open as though reading
out-loud the letter she holds in extended arm. Excellent
condition. Germany,circa 1910.
