Description
14" (36 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, cobalt blue glass eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, delicately-painted lashes, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, ears pierced into head, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with shapely torso. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1870, very beautiful poupee with lovely bisque, sturdy original body, lovely ivory patterned satin wedding gown trimmed with unusual beaded ornamentation that is repeated on her coronet with veil and as a lavish floral bouquet.
