5" (13 cm.) and 7". Each has wax or wax over paper mache shoulderhead, cobalt blue glass eyes, well-shaped modeling, closed mouth, blonde or fleecy mohair wig, muslin stitch-jointed body, paper mache lower limbs, the girl with painted grey ankle boots with white buttons. Condition: generally excellent, light typical rubs on wax. Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: most appealing miniature dolls, the boy with elaborate velvet and woolen Sunday-best suit, and carrying his little toy dog, while the little girl with factory-original dress and undergarments, and rare painted grey boots.
