Description
10" (25 cm.) x 7" x 5". An ebony wooden box is lavishly
decorated both inside and out; the exterior with embossed
brass straps accented with brass medallions,opalescent
buttons and brass beads,and the interior with mirrored
back edged with ruffled ribbons and lace,and fitted
interior in various shades of blue with gilt edging,and
having blue silk pin cushion,and velvet cushion which
displays exquisite gold scissors,stiletto,needle case,and
copper thimble,and needle; along with two separate
compartments housing crystal bottles with prismatic
stoppers. Hidden below is a music box. Excellent
condition. French,circa 1850.
