5" (13 cm.) The enameled brass cylindrical case,designed to
be use for storage of bodkins,is decorated with painted
scenes of ladies and gentleman in country settings,having
exceptional detail of costume and pose,and with painted
foliage on the two caps. Excellent condition,some enamel
wear on one cap. English,late 18th century.
