5" (13 cm.) The oval-shaped very dark tortoise-shell case
is constructed with infinite detail including inscribed
details on the inside clasps and hinges,and fitted shapes
on both base and lid for the extensive original sewing
tools,each of which is decorated with matching tiny design.
Seven matching sewing tools are included. Excellent
condition. French,circa 1840.
