16" (41 cm.) All wooden carved doll, socket head with unusual oval-shaped face, full cheeks and chin, decal/painted blue eyes with black upper eyeliner, lightly-feathered brows, accented nostrils of rounded nose, closed mouth, accent line between the primly-set lips, impressed philtrum and lip corners, brunette side-parted tacked-on mohair wig with soft curls, all-wooden spring-jointed body, holes in feet for posing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll, Pat. January 17, '11 USA & Foreign Countries. Comments: Schoenhut, model 314, the model was made from 1912-1916 only. Value Points: very rare model, especially in this size, is all-original including complexion, painting, wig, and costume comprising a white embroidered cotton dress, knit teddy, Schoenhut stockings and shoes.
