6" (15 cm.) x 4 1/2". The flat wooden case with painted
red finish and oil-painted scene depicting an interior
scene with three persons,with excellent detail of
architecture and furnishings,Inside is a blue velvet base
with fitted recesses for the original silver sewing
tools,comprising scissors,knife,stiletto,needle
case,thimble and bodkin,and mother-of-pearl thread winder.
Excellent condition. Vienna,early 1800s.
