Description
3 1/2" (8 cm.) A porcelain needle case designed as a lady尽
shapely leg has a pale lavender stocking with painted
decorations,and a lavishly decorated porcelain heeled
shoe,with silver cap having inscribed floral design.
Excellent condition. French,circa 1780,the model was known
as ?jambes de puce" or ?flohbein" in reference to the tiny
flea design that is incorporated into the painting.
