7 1/2" (19 cm.) h. cup and egg. Each of fine exotic woods
with marquetry detail,including an egg holder on
pedestal,holding a wooden sock-repair egg,and another
wooden egg which twists open to reveal the wooden thread
bobbin fitted inside. Excellent condition. French,mid-19th
century.
