Description
6 1/2" (17 cm.) Posed upon a round marble plinth with
ornate gilt metal mount and center pillar is a large
mother-of-pearl egg with gilt metal frame. The egg hinges
open at the center to reveal a gilt tray with fitted sewing
tools comprising scissors,awl,needle case and thimble.
Excellent condition. French,circa 1875.
