1 1/2" (4 cm.) The Spanish walnut is designed to hinge open
at the center and is lined with rose silk on the inside lid
and fitted gold frame on the lower section with sections
designed for the tiny scissors,stiletto,thimble,needle and
needle case that are contained within. Excellent condition
except the hinge is detached. French,1870.
