Description
6" (15 cm.) x 4". The leather and gutta percha covered
wooden box has medallion cover on the lid depicting a
seated dejected Napoleon,his hat at his side and many
accessories in the background. The inside lid has a
velour-framed mirror with marbled paper lining. The base
has purple velvet fitted recesses,filled with original
silver sewing tools including scissors,needle
case,stiletto,knife,bodkin and thimble. Excellent
condition. French,circa 1800.
