7" (18 cm.) l. 5" silver clasp. An intricately-stitched bag of gold metallic threads,paillettes,and tiny pearl beads on the front side,and silk on the reverse is silk lined and supported by a heavy silver frame which incorporates winged cherubs,scrolls and flowers in its design,and with heavy chain handle. Excellent condition except some fraility to silk on reverse side. Early 1800s.
