A mother-of-pearl egg-shaped case has gilt brass fittings and hinges open to a rose silk lining and incised brass liner which has fitted recesses for the tiny original sewing tools including a pair of cobalt blue crystal bottles with silver caps,and a tiny silver scissors,stiletto and thimble and pins with cobalt blue heads,Excellent condition. French,circa 1860.
