Description
10" (25 cm.) Of gilt brass,ormolu and mother-of-pearl and
having gold bead,ferny leaf,and scroll designs,the
chatelaine with belt loop for attachment,has an acorn-
shaped jar which contains a tiny bone-handled perfume
bottle in its fitted interior,and a mother-of-pearl
ormolu-framed miniature book with tiny color engravings
including a girl playing with a doll,along with two
dangling ruby-color stones. Excellent condition,book has
some pencil notations. French,circa 1850.
