Description
7" (18 cm.) A gold belt-looped chatelaine with elaborate
detail from which suspends a chain with very detailed gilt
squares to which are attached various accessories,as
follows: gold needle case,gold etui with fitted recesses
for tools (empty),gold thimble case (empty),small round
lidded box with white pearl,and a gold-framed pocket watch
marked Geneva (key not included). Exceptional detail of
design and luxury accessories. Excellent condition
excepting watch case does not close. Probably Dutch,late
18th century.
