Description
7" (18 cm.) x 3" case. The firm-sided case with leather
cover and silver clasp,opens to a blue silk fitted
interior with recesses for the original set of mother-of-
pearl and gilt mount sewing tools that are
included,comprising scissors,stiletto,needle case,bodkin
case,two spools,snowflake thread winder,thimble and
bodkin. Three of the sewing tools,including the
thimble,have the pansy medallion of Palais Royal.
Excellent condition. French,circa 1819.
