Description
4" (10 cm.) x 3". Of exotic burled wood with darker-wood
inlay and mother-of-pearl inlay panel at the center
top,the case opens to a mirrored back with mauve and cream
cord edging,and base lined with fitted purple velvet
containing an original set of mother-of-pearl sewing
tools,comprising scissors,stiletto needlecase with gold
mounts,thimble with gold rims,stiletto,bobbin,thread
winder,and bodkin. The thimble and needle case have the
pansy shield emblem of Palais Royal. Excellent condition.
