Description
3 1/2" (9 cm.) The porcelain egg with silver mounts has
six painted scenes in the Watteau style depicting ladies
at rest,and romantic couples in pastoral settings,against
a gilt accented burgundy ground. The egg hinges open to a
gold lined interior and a complete set of gold sewing
tools and accessories,even including tiny spoon,and rests
upon an original silver frame. Excellent condition.
