4 1/2" (11 cm.) The angled-side basket-shaped wooden form
with inlaid woods in geometric designs,has flattened ball-
shaped feet and a shaped bail handle,. The coral velvet
pincushion forms a lid,and when lifted out,reveals a hidden
compartment below which is lined with gold accented red
papers. Excellent condition. English,circa 1860.
