Description
6 1/2" (17 cm.) Arranged upon a small cabinet with mother-
of-pearl veneers,glass pearl ball feet,and single drawer
with gilt knob is a gilt-framed pincushion with gold
velvet cover,in front of a pedestal surmounted by a
mother-of-pearl peacock with hand-painted features,four
ring-holders,and an oval miniature watercolor of Weiburg
in Baden with castle,tower,bridge,people in horse drawn
carriage and other people walking. Excellent condition,few
paint rubs on painting. Vienna,circa 1820,the painting by
Balthasar Wigand,and the luxury accessory likely from the
Wigand atelier.
