Description
5 1/2" (14 cm.) A white marble circular base supports an
elaborate arrangement in ormolu and mother-of-pearl,with
classic grape and marguerite decorations,and a trailing
grape branch that reaches to the crown and upon which is
perched a winged dove. When the branch is lifted and
dropped,the hidden dinner bell rings with a lovely sound.
Excellent condition. French,circa 1870.
