Description
6" (15 cm.) Attached to a white marble base is a gilt metal
sewing case designed in the shape of a beehive with
attached clover leaves and five bumblebees. The case opens
and reveals gold sewing tools,namely
thimble,scissors,needle case and stiletto in fitted
recesses. Excellent condition. French,Napoleon III
epoque,circa 1860.
