In the shape of a knife box,with angled top,and with mother-of-pearl over wood having elaborately- yet-delicately painted wild flowers on all sides,the case opens to magenta silk padded lining with fitted recesses for the matched set of silver tools which comprise scissors,folding knife,tape holder with cloth tape,thimble,stiletto and awl,along with matching silk needle folio,excellent condition,repair to mother-of-pearl at upper right corner,French,circa 1780.
